Our grandsons Luke and Logan were born at 22 weeks each weighing about a pound. We watched their journey during the pandemic through NICU Camera's. They were such fighters and overcame so many obstacles. Unfortunately we lost Luke at 12 weeks. Logan would spend another 3 months in the NICU battling NEC that took his brothers life before finally coming home. Our granddaughter Ava was born with severe a congenital heart defect along with some other complications. At 2 weeks she had her first open heart surgery and spent her first few months in the hospital as well. Since then she had more surgeries and medical procedures.
We are walking to help other families facing similar challenges so that children have the best chances of survival.

March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
