I'm running for March of Dimes to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. In 2001, my mother, sisters, and I were one of the thousands of families in the NICU that MoD gave a fighting chance.
My mother delivered Shannon, Sarah, and I at 25 weeks; we each weighed about 1 pound. While we lost Shannon on the first day of our NICU journey, Sarah and I relied on March of Dimes research, funding, and advancements to keep us alive for the next four months.
I'm thrilled to be running the NYC Marathon this year with my mom. We've come along way from those NICU days, and we have March of Dimes to thank. Please consider donating to help close the health equity gap and advocate for equitable maternal healthcare.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
