6 years ago I was lucky enough to be offered a position with the March of Dimes during our transition to Columbus. Although, I wasn’t with the organization long the first time, it made an incredible impact on me. I wasn’t gone long and when the opportunity presented itself for me to come back I grabbed on with both hands. I wasn’t finished making a difference. I wasn’t finished working for an organization that works so hard for moms and babies. I really do enjoy working for a purpose. It drives me every day to be better and work harder, not just for me, but for the families that have been and will be touched by this mission. I fundraise for the babies born too soon, I fundraise for the babies that are born with a birth defect, I fundraise for the families that never even get to bring their babies home, but most of all I fundraise for me. Knowing that I have made an impact in this way motivates me to be the best me I can be. I have been able to introduce my family, friends and network to an organization that fights for the health of all moms and babies and that drives me every day. Thank you to those who support me in everything that I do. You not only make an incredible difference in the lives of the families I represent, but you make a difference in my life and for that I am forever grateful. 💜
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
