I delivered my twins prematurely at just 28 weeks gestation due to severe preeclampsia. It is a situation that I do not wish on any mother. I was very fortunate to have my twins in a hospital with an excellent NICU, where they got the best care possible. This care is made possible due to the funding raised by March for Babies. Without funding for research, the survival rates for premature babies would not be what they are today. I am so thankful that my twins are happy and healthy and want the same for mother's everywhere. Together, we can help premature babies get the best chance of survival, if not find a way to prevent premature birth of any cause! Please help me give back to an organization that gave me the chance to keep my tiny miracles alive!
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
