Today in the U.S., 1 in every 10 babies will be born prematurely. Some of them won't survive, and others will have health problems that could last a lifetime. The funds we raise in March for Babies support research that saves babies' lives. No amount is too small for the tiniest of babies.
Each year, I participate in honor and/or memory of babies and families who have been affected by premature birth and/or birth defects. With everything that's going on in the world right now surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19), moms and babies need our help now more than ever! Pregnant women and babies are more at risk of becoming sick. As we face this public health crisis together, it is imperative that we come together to support moms, babies and families.
This year's walk will mark my 30th anniversary as an active MOD volunteer. My personal goal is to raise $3,100. Can you help me reach my goal? Please join me in the cause of supporting healthy moms and strong babies. Thank you in advance for your time, consideration, generous donation, and ongoing support.
Two babies die every hour in the U.S. And about every 12 hours a woman dies as a result of complications from pregnancy.
It's not fine. That's why we March for Babies.
We march to end maternal death. We march for babies born too soon. We march for babies we have lost. We march for moms-to-be. And we march for health equity.
Join the fight for healthy moms and strong babies, and make a difference for families everywhere!
