Today in the U.S., 1 in every 10 babies will be born prematurely. Some of them won't survive, and others will have health problems that could last a lifetime. The funds we raise in March for Babies support research that saves babies' lives. No amount is too small for the tiniest of babies.
Each year, I participate in honor and/or memory of babies and families who have been affected by premature birth and/or birth defects. With everything that's going on in the world right now surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19), moms and babies need our help now more than ever! Pregnant women and babies are more at risk of becoming sick. As we face this public health crisis together, it is imperative that we come together to support moms, babies and families.
This year's walk will mark my 31st anniversary as an active MOD volunteer. My personal goal is to raise $3,200. Can you help me reach my goal? Please join me in the cause of supporting healthy moms and strong babies. Thank you in advance for your time, consideration, generous donation, and ongoing support.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
