Why I walk

Our triplets were born on July 30, 2007 at 25 weeks and 2 days. Lindy Jane was 1 pound 9 ounces, William Allan was 1 pound 14 ounces, and Adam Allan was 1 pound 13 ounces. Adam only lived 12 hours. Help us in the fight against prematurity. We are walking for babies like Adam who did not survive and for babies like Lindy and Will who have already fought a hard battle and live with lifelong consequences every day. We will never get away from their premature birth. Whether it's wondering what life with three kids should be like, the numerous doctors visits to many specialists, or putting on my daughter glasses, hearing aids and braces on her feet, we will never forget what premature birth has taken from us.

We would love a donation towards this amazing organization or we would love for you to join our team and raise money yourself. We would love to have a huge team walk on April 22, 2017 at Corpening Plaza in downtown Winston-Salem. The March of Dimes champions the needs of moms and babies in our community and across the nation. The money we raise for March for Babies will support lifesaving research, services, education and advocacy that help babies get a healthy start. Please help by donating today!

Your gift matters

Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
