Susan Supports March for Babies

This May, our family will be participating in the March for Babies, a fundraising walk for the March of Dimes, to give hope to families of babies born too soon or too sick, a situation we are all too familiar with.

My daughter Brooke Elizabeth Elmore was born at 29 weeks weighing only two pounds and six ounces.  She spent 60 long days, critically ill in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The March of Dimes donated the incubator that was used to keep Brooke alive and we truly believe that our lives would be very different if it were not for the March of Dimes and the dedicated nurses and doctors who cared for her. Brooke is now a healthy, happy and silly fifteen-year-old girl! We are so fortunate to have her in our lives and now we are working to save other babies and help other families!

We certainly know that it is a terrible time to spare any money.  Any amount, even a dime is very helpful and very much appreciated.

Please visit my fundraising page to make a donation. Together we’ll be part of a movement to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.

WE NEED TO UNITE, CONNECT AND FIGHT FOR FAMILIES

With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.

At March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.

Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
