Nearly 27 years ago, my life changed when my youngest and only sibling came into the world. As a child, I didn't realize what being a "big sister" meant. I didn't realize how much my brother, Jimmy, born with Down Syndrome, would teach me about being a good person. He has taught me patience, empathy, and above all else, to allow love to be your guiding light in the world.
March of Dimes supports moms and babies everywhere. They support babies born too soon, born with a birth defect, and those who gained their wings far too early. March of Dimes supports ALL babies and the women who make it possible to bring them into the world. They support my brother and helped to support the NICU where he stayed when he was born.
