As a father and someone born prematurely, the March of Dimes March for Babies holds a deeply personal significance for me. It’s a cause close to my heart, and I’m proud to support it each year.
The March for Babies is the largest and oldest national charitable walking event in the U.S., bringing together thousands of communities nationwide. Funds raised from this event go directly toward groundbreaking research and essential programs to prevent preterm birth, birth defects, and infant mortality.
It is only fitting since I am the Marine for Life Representative for Washington, DC, I choose to attend the March for Babies event in my AO:
🗓️ Date: Saturday, May 3rd, 2025
⏰ Time: 9:30 AM
📍 Location: Nationals Stadium, South Capitol Street, Washington, DC
I’m proud to walk with Team Alpha Phi Alpha – Theta Rho Lambda Chapter, an organization I regularly partner with to support our community.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
