Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. provides volunteer services in connection with its mission to promote male responsibility, including responsible and healthy parenting and opportunities for all youth to achieve their highest potential with the assistance of fraternity members who are college-educated, professional men committed to service to their communities.
March of Dimes and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. forged a partnership over 40 years ago and have launched Project Alpha, a program designed to provide young men with current and accurate information about teen pregnancy prevention and other health information to prevent preterm birth and infant mortality.
Mu Zeta Lambda is continuing to do thier part to support the cause.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
