On February 17, 2025, we suffered the tragic stillbirth of our beloved son, Bernard. Our team, Weekend For Bernie, is in memory of him and in honor of all the babies that will come after him - for us and for parents worldwide.
At 37 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy, we arrived at the hospital thinking we were in labor. Our bags were packed, his nursery was ready, but in triage we heard the words that no parent can fathom - “there is no heartbeat”.
There was no preventable cause for the loss of our precious Bernie, but together, we can advocate and fundraise for research to improve the lives of mothers and babies - especially those most at risk.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
