Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. I was one of those babies born 26 weeks early, weighing only 2lb 14oz. My mother, the late Janette E. Carrington was a big supporter and I have decided to keep up her tradition. I'm walking in March for Babies because I want to do something about this and by picking up the torch I hope to keep my mother's dream alive. It is also a way to give my mommie a Mother's day gift she would've loved. I need your help. Please support my walk. Making a secure donation is easy: just click the donate now button on this page. Thank you for helping me give all babies a healthy start!
This is my 16th year Walking, Raising Awareness and Funds. I have set a goal to raise $1062 this year, which would bring me to raising over $34,309.45 in fifteen years. All I can say is Wow and Thank You. Please help by donating and or joining my team and sharing my link. I can't wait to be able to walk this year; It's a Beautiful 3 mile walk in SW Washington DC starting at the Nats Stadium and ending at the same place. There is usually lunch provided after the walk for participants .
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
