Keagan and Tatum’s story is one of love, strength, and both heartbreak and hope. Born prematurely, they entered the world far earlier than expected and immediately began fighting battles most never have to face.
During their time in the NICU, they showed incredible resilience. Every small milestone was a victory, and every day was filled with both uncertainty and deep love. While Keagan continues to grow and overcome challenges, we carry the memory of Tatum with us always. Though her time here was far too short, her impact on our lives is immeasurable, and her story continues to shape who we are.
Their journey reflects the reality so many families face with premature birth—the joy, the fear, the strength, and sometimes, the loss. It is why the mission of March of Dimes is so deeply personal to us.
We share Keagan and Tatum’s story to honor Tatum’s life, celebrate Keagan’s strength, and bring awareness to the importance of research, support, and advocacy so that more families can bring their babies home.
