I am walking in honor of my sweet niece, Kennedy Rose, and her mommy and daddy, Amanda and Nick. I will always cherish the memory of holding our sweet girl. It was such an honor to be a part of her much too short life. I will share their story below, please consider donating or joining us in her memory. Thank you! ****************************************** One month changed my life forever. On February 2, 2026, my husband, Nick Dziuban, passed away unexpectedly despite a long valiant battle with cancer. Exactly one month later, on March 2, 2026, I delivered our daughter prematurely at just 26 weeks and 6 days after developing severe pre-eclampsia, HELLP syndrome, and disseminated intravascular coagulation. In the middle of unimaginable grief, our daughter unexpectedly entered the world. Our beautiful baby girl, Kennedy Rose Dziuban. Kennedy may have been small, but she was unbelievably strong and absolutely perfect. She was as magical as a fairy and the most perfect combination of the two of us; my husbands nose, my full lips, 10 perfect fingers and 10 perfect toes. From the moment she was created to the moment she was born and every second she was here, she knew only pure love. Kennedy and I received unbelievable care in the NICU. She fought so hard, but we lost our sweet girl on March 8, 2026. Kennedy is the most beautiful little girl I have ever seen, and I will carry both her and her daddy with me for the rest of my life. This year, and every year from now on, I am walking for March of Dimes in memory of Kennedy Rose and her incredible dad, Nick. Families shouldn’t have to face pregnancy complications, premature birth, and loss like this without better answers, better research, and better care. March of Dimes funds the research and programs that help protect moms and babies and give families hope. I’m walking for my daughter. I’m walking for my husband. I’m walking for every tiny fighter who deserves a chance. Kennedy Rose may have been tiny, but her life—and her love—will always be bigger than this loss.
