Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. I'm walking in March for Babies because I want to do something about this. And I need your help. My oldest son, Antoine was born 3 months early and weighed only 1 lb. 11 oz. it is by the grace of GOD that he survived, has no permanent disablities, and is a healthy 30 year old man today. Sadly, my daughter Mariah Ayana was not as fortunate. In 2007, at only 4 months pregnant, I went into pre-term labor. My baby girl was so extremely premature, that she was unable to survive outside the womb; and died in my arms a few minutes after I gave birth to her. I will forever cherish the few moments that I held her in my arms. Those that know me, know that having a daughter was always a dream of mine and I was heart-broken. No parent should ever have to experience this kind of loss. In 2010, I gave birth to my first full term baby Jeremiah, who is a healthy 16 year old boy full of energy!
