Olivia’s Journey – Tiny but Mighty 💜

This year marks the 5th year our family and friends will be participating in the March of Dimes walk — a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts. We look forward to this event each year as we celebrate Olivia and all that she has overcome.

Olivia Grace Gamboa was born on December 16, 2020, at 4:36 PM, weighing just 1 pound 15 ounces. She spent 58 days in the NICU and finally came home at 4 pounds.

During her NICU stay, Olivia faced many challenges, including a stage 1 brain bleed (which thankfully resolved on its own), daily blood tests, jaundice, and feeding difficulties. After coming home, she received two years of physical therapy to help build her strength. She has graduated from seeing her GI specialist and speech therapy.

Despite every obstacle, our little warrior princess has shown incredible resilience. Today, Olivia is catching up with her peers and truly thriving.

She loves staying active and expressive. Her favorite hobbies include dancing, swimming, and cheerleading. She also enjoys building with Legos, singing, arts & crafts, and spending time with family and friends. Watching her grow into a confident, joyful little girl has been the greatest blessing.

March of Dimes holds a special place in our hearts because it fights for moms and babies — especially those born too soon or facing complications. With preterm birth and maternal health challenges on the rise, we are committed to raising funds to help ensure that every family gets the best possible start.
