I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk.
The movement is close to my heart as my son was born at 28+0 weeks at 1.5lbs. Without the leaps and bounds in the medical field related to pre-term birth from the continuous efforts of March of Dimes and the staff at West Allis NICU, my baby boy may not be here today.
He fought for 116 days in the NICU with many days our hearts were full of fear he wouldn’t make it but he’s now thriving! He is no longer on oxygen support after 10 months requiring support, he has completed now three surgeries (2 hernia, 1 ROP treatment), and struggles with weight gain.
Despite all he has been through, he is one of those kids that is always smiling, asking for a ‘bump’ and when life tries to knock him down, he shows up stronger than the time before.
With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start and help they need. But I need your help.
Please visit my fundraising page to make a donation. Together we’ll be part of a movement to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
