Harvey and Charlotte “Lottie” Mulligan were born on July 17th, 2024, nine weeks before their September 16th due date. Arriving at just 31 weeks and 2 days at Cedars-Sinai in Beverly Hills, our twins began their journey far earlier than expected. Harvey, our big boy, came home after 36 days on August 22nd, followed by his sister Lottie on September 13th after 58 days in the NICU.
Those weeks were filled with challenges we never imagined, multiple blood transfusions, countless specialists, and more sleepless nights than we could count. The NICU became our second home, a place where every small milestone felt monumental. Amid the uncertainty, the incredible doctors, nurses, and staff became our steady foundation, guiding us with expertise, compassion, and hope.
We were also carried by the unwavering support of our family and friends, who showed up in every way possible; with meals, messages, prayers and reminders that we were not walking this road alone.
Today, Harvey and Lottie are thriving, and we are endlessly grateful for the care that made their healthy future possible. Our experience opened our eyes to the critical importance of research, resources, and community for families facing premature birth. Supporting March for Babies and March of Dimes is our way of honoring the team who cared for our children and helping ensure that other families have access to the same lifesaving support.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
