Rowan James Bello entered the world far earlier than we ever expected, arriving at just 29 weeks. What followed was a journey filled with strength, patience, and incredible care as he spent 67 days in the NICU fighting and growing stronger every single day. Those weeks were filled with challenges, hope, and the unwavering support of the doctors and nurses who helped guide our family through one of the most difficult and meaningful seasons of our lives. Today, Rowan is home where he belongs—big, strong, and living every day with a smile on his face. He absolutely adores his mom and his big sister, and one of our favorite things is how he “talks” back and forth with his dad like we’re having full conversations. Rowan’s story is a reminder of how resilient these tiny fighters are, and why the work of March of Dimes is so important for families like ours.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
