I participate to help all moms and families experience the joy of a healthy baby. My son JJ made me a mom 8 years ago! His birth was the happiest event and also the scariest of my life. We spent the first two weeks of his precious life in the NICU at GW. Then three years later we were back with Addie, luckily this time only for a day.
With nearly 4 million babies born each year, we have a lot of work to do to help them all. The funds I raise enable March of Dimes to support research, lead programs and provide education and advocacy that truly makes a difference to families in our community and across the country.
The reality that not all babies are born healthy and thriving became mine when our sweet JJ was born, full term, but needing NICU support. The specialty care that he received and family support services from which Jimmy and I benefited were made possible, in part by the March of Dimes. This year my goal is to raise $10 for every hour that my two sweet babies spent in the NICU that's 15 days > 360 hours > $3,600. Will you help me reach my goal? I'm humbly asking that you consider marching with me or make a donation to support this community effort. Together we can fight for the health of all moms and babies.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
