As this time of year rolls around again I feel pain, saddness, hurt but I also feel joy, happiness and love. As a mother to an angel its not easy living day by day with a part of you missing. Its not easy seeing mothers and happy healthy children knowing that a part of you is in heaven, but for me i just look up and thank God for giving me even just the slightest bit of time with my beautiful daughter, Rachel. I constantly have the "what if" going on in my head. I cant say it gets easier as the years pass because it doesnt, but it does make it easier knowing you arent alone. I always wondering would she have an attitude like mommy or be brave like daddy. Im so blessed for all March of Dimes has done for myself and Rachel. Join me in marching to remember Rachel!
