Fighting for Every Baby Born Too Soon
Rhys was born at just 26 weeks, weighing 1 lb 11 oz. Our first days were filled with NICU monitors, uncertainty, and hope as we waited for her to grow stronger.
In Florida, 1 in 9 babies are born too soon, and our state received a D grade for preterm birth. That represents thousands of families facing a journey like ours.
Today, Rhys is walking and preparing for her very first March for Babies.
We are walking for the babies still fighting and for a future where Florida earns better than a D. If you feel moved, please consider supporting Rhys’s Village Warriors.
Preemies may be tiny, but given the chance, they can be mighty. 💛
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
