Our team, Gabriella Ruth, was created by my daughter, Julia, and her husband, Joel. Our team is named for their daughter, Gabriella Ruth Schubert, who suddenly and unexpectedly was called to heaven on April 20, 2020. Our little Gabriella left our lives when she was only 13 days old.
Gabriella Ruth was born 8+ weeks prematurely following a 5-week exceedingly difficult stay in the hospital NICU by my daughter. The stress to both families during that time was amplified by the pandemic-imposed visitation restrictions and was heartbreaking.
I joined this movement to honor the memory of my precious little granddaughter and to support my daughter and her husband.
