I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk.
With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But I need your help.
In 2013 I had my daughter Samiya at 28 weeks and 3 days gestation. Unfortunately due to complications from Preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome she didn't make it. After weeks in the hospital I was informed I would never be able to conceive again. In 2015 God say fit to bless me with a son Tristan, he was a high risk pregnancy and was preterm he came at 28 weeks and 3 days gestation as well. Tristan spent 2.5 months in the NICU of USA Children and Women Hospital. I am forever grateful for their care during that time. I have sense had 4 successful pregnancies and 2 of them being high risk but coming to term. I know firsthand the benefits of March of Dimes and I aim to help any other parent that I can that goes through these ordeals.
