Our daughter Sofia was born unexpectedly at 32 weeks. After a brief NICU stay she was able to come home and now is turning eight. Our son Benjamin was born at 29 weeks and stayed at the NICU at Edwards Hospital and he is now a thriving six year old. We have and continue to benefit from the wonderful work that March of Dimes does and for that we are forever grateful to them.
We have decided to participate in this year's walk in celebration of our preemies!
I participate to help all families experience the joy of a healthy baby. With nearly 4 million babies born premature each year, we have a lot of work to do to help them all. The funds we raise enable March of Dimes to support research, lead programs and provide education and advocacy that truly makes a difference to families in our community and across the country. If you believe, like I do, that every baby deserves the best possible start, please march with me or make a donation to support this community effort. Together we can fight for the health of all parents and babies.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
