My commitment to March for Babies is deeply personal. Long before I understood the science behind premature birth, I saw up close just how fragile new life can be and how much strength it takes for families to navigate those first uncertain moments. That experience stayed with me and shaped how I view the importance of giving every baby the healthiest possible start.
As a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., I am proud to continue our fraternity’s long-standing collaboration with the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation, a partnership that began in 1980 and remains just as vital today. With preterm birth and maternal mortality rates continuing to rise, disproportionately affecting the Black community, this mission has never been more urgent.
As Team Captain for Alpha Phi Alpha – South Fulton Alphas, I walk to help ensure that families facing these challenges are not alone. The funds we raise support research, education, and advocacy that give moms and babies a fighting chance from day one.
Thank you for supporting this cause and standing with us as we work toward a future where every mom is healthy and every baby has the opportunity to thrive.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
