On a cold January afternoon, at just 30 weeks pregnant, what began as a normal day quickly turned into an emergency delivery. My son, Rotimi, was born weighing 3 lbs and spent 54 days in the NICU fighting through life-threatening complications. Walking out of the hospital without my baby was one of the hardest moments of my life.
During those long, emotional days, March of Dimes NICU Family Support programs made all the difference—providing education, emotional support, and a community of parents who truly understood. Today, Rotimi is a healthy, thriving 8-year-old, and our family is forever grateful.
