Infertility, preterm labor, and complications during pregnancy impact so many families, often in ways no one could ever expect. For many, it’s a journey filled with uncertainty, strength, and more resilience than anyone should have to find.

This year, Ian and I are walking for our nephews, to honor Rocco Peter Sanci and to celebrate Michael Nunzio Sanci, and for our daughter, Viviana, who reminds us every day just how much of a gift a healthy start truly is.

Rocco and Michael were born at just 25 weeks and 5 days, weighing 2 lbs and 2.38 lbs. While Rocco is no longer with us, he is always a part of us, felt in the love we carry and see in Michael, who continues to grow and thrive every day.

After our own journey with infertility, we know what it means to hope, to wait, and to hold onto the belief that your story will unfold the way it’s meant to. We feel so incredibly lucky to have Viviana, and we carry that gratitude with us in every step.
