We joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. As our birthday's are approaching, we are reminded on the importance of giving back.
My daughter, Zoe, was born 3 months early, at 28 weeks, in April of 2020; the height of the Covid Pandemic. During our 3.5 months in the NICU, I quickly found support with the March Of Dimes, as they are deeply integrated at INOVA. Instantly, I found a place to educate myself, talk to other parents going through their own NICU journey, vent, cry, be vulnerable and learn how to Best advocate for my daughter. I cannot imagine going through that without them by our side! We are forever grateful and supportive of their cause.
I ask for your support, as I am looking to raise $1,500 for our March for Babies event on April 25th to support future NICU babies and their families.
