​Dear Family and Friends,

The U.S. preterm birth rate is among the worst of high-resource nations. The funds raised in March for Babies support research that saves babies' lives. I personally lost two babies to pre-term labor. Later I was blessed with a set of twin girls. They were born one month prematurely; however, their organs were developed enough for them to survive on their own. Even so they had to remain in the hospital for a week before I was able to bring them home. I can only imagine what others go through who have babies who are born less than three pounds and have to be hooked up to machines until their organs can function independently and/or they reach a certain weight. The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality. On Sunday, April 27, 2025, I will be walking in the March of Dimes March for Babies. I am asking that you support this cause by making a donation.
