I will walk in the March of Dimes Triangle’s March for Babies on May 9th because this cause is deeply personal to me. As a NICU nurse for nearly 27 years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for the tiniest, strongest fighters—babies who teach us what true resilience looks like every single day.
I’ll be walking as part of the UNC Rex NICU team, honoring these tiny warriors who have changed my life and remind me to celebrate the smallest victories: a breath, a gram gained, a milestone reached.
Walking in this march is my way of honoring the babies and families who have forever left an imprint on my heart. I invite you to walk with me—in person or in spirit—and I welcome your prayers and support.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
