ACKNOWLEDGING MY SONS, AS WE PAY IT FORWARD HELPING MOMS AND BABIES THROUGH MARCH FOR BABIES!!
In April 2007 my sons Zachary and Cole were born 14 weeks early, that's 3 1/2 months too soon! These fragile micro preemies had an unimaginable battle & after a few days, Zachary heartbreakingly lost his fight and became our Eternal Angel! Cole endured weeks on a ventilator, heart and lung issues, infections and a stroke all while in the NICU! After 3 months of love, support, prayers, luck and top notch medical care- Cole was finally able to come home!! MANY babies aren't that lucky!
The road was filled with doctors, therapists, specialists, determination, overwhelming love and tremendously hard work! Today Cole is a smart, funny, drummer, swimmer, bowler, tennis playing high schooler on the Honor Roll! Some children born too soon face disabilities for their entire life; some like our Zachary, are no longer with us!
