On April 30, 2025, I gave birth to my identical twin boys Sean and Ethan. The boys were about six weeks premature but my labor was induced due to preeclampsia and a rare condition affecting identical twins called twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. They were born at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and immediately brought to their state of the art neonatal intensive care unit.
