I have been a NICU nurse at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh for nearly three years, working in a Level III unit where we care for premature and critically ill newborns. Every day I have the privilege of supporting not only these babies, but also their families during some of the most uncertain and emotional moments of their lives.
Through this experience, I’ve seen firsthand how important access to quality care, education, and research is when it comes to improving outcomes for moms and babies. That’s what makes organizations like March of Dimes so important because of their dedication to advancing the health of all moms and babies through research, advocacy, and support.
For the past two years, I have been proud to be part of fundraising efforts on my unit. This cause is deeply personal to me, not just because of the work I do, but because of the incredible strength I see in the families I care for every day.
Any support whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page means more than you know. Thank you for helping make a difference.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
