As a mom, the mission of March of Dimes is deeply personal to me. Moms are incredibly strong — we carry so much, give so much, and show up every day for our families. But strength doesn’t mean moms should have to do it alone. Every mother deserves the care, support, and resources she needs to have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.
That’s one of the reasons I feel so grateful to have recently joined the March of Dimes team. Being part of an organization that works every day to improve the health of moms and babies — especially those facing the greatest risks — means so much to me both personally and professionally.
Right now, too many families are facing challenges like preterm birth and maternal health complications. March of Dimes is working to change that, but it takes all of us.
