Dear Friends and Family,
We are getting ready for another virtual March for Babies Walk. We will walk here in Iowa City for all Moms and Babies. We all probably know someone who has had a baby too early or a baby that was born with a birth defect. In my family, both my kids and both of my sisters' kids were born early. My sister and I were also born early. We are raising money for the March of Dimes, so they can keep helping improve maternal and baby health.
Carson
-born 11 ½ weeks early
-weighed 3 pounds, 4 ounces
-spent 72 days in the NICU
Sara
-born 4 weeks early
-weighed 5 pounds, 11 ounces
-spent 10 days in the NICU
Carson has a new hair color in the attached photo. He dyed his hair for the state football game. His team got second place, but he didn't get to play because he broke his tibia at practice. He started out little, but he is still growing!
Sara also has a new hair color in the attached photo. She has experimented with a few different colors, and this is the latest. Over Spring Break, she told me that she is considering a computer science minor at college. She started off little too, but is growing and learning so much at college.
