When we found out we were expecting triplets, we knew their arrival would likely come earlier than planned. Even knowing that, nothing quite prepares you for seeing your babies surrounded by monitors and tucked into incubators instead of resting beside you.
Our triplets didn’t have major complications, and for that we are incredibly grateful. They simply needed time — time to grow, time to learn to feed, time to adjust to the world a little earlier than expected. Still, as parents, the NICU can feel overwhelming no matter the circumstances.
The team at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center made all the difference for our family. They cared for our babies with such gentleness and skill, but they also cared for us. They answered our questions, celebrated the small milestones, and gave us the reassurance we needed during those early days of uncertainty.
Because of them, our three little ones are home and thriving. We will always be thankful for the steady hands and kind hearts that helped bridge the gap between their early arrival and bringing them safely home.
