In 1980, March of Dimes and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. forged a partnership called Project Alpha, a program designed to provide young men with current and accurate information about teen pregnancy prevention.
With national impact, Project Alpha:
• Reaches more than 25,000 young men every year.
• Has raised more than $5 million for March of Dimes through support of March for Babies events in the last 10 years alone.
March of Dimes leads the fight for the health of all moms and babies.
We support research, education, and advocacy, and provide programs and services so that every family can get the best possible start. Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc, Delta Epsilon Lambda Chapter joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk.
With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, we are committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But we need your help.
