This will be my second March of Dimes event and I am walking for my twin daughters, Peyton & Mackenzie, who were born at 24 weeks 1 day weighing 1lb 6oz and 1lb 5oz. I’m also newly a NICU Nurse in the same NICU that cared for my girls after their incredible journey and the outstanding care they recieved
Mackenzie spent 154 days in the NICU before coming home at a day over 5 months old. Peyton came home 9 days later after 163 day stay with a G tube.
Now at 19 months actual, 15 months adjusted, my twin girls are thriving! We are forever grateful to the NICU team at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital for saving our girls lives. It was the hardest thing I have ever experienced and I wouldn’t have gotten through it without the support and kindness we received at the NICU.

March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
