Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. I'm walking in March for Babies because I want to do something about this. And I need your help. In 2013, the Farmville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. participated in the Farmville March for Babies, and I was the team captain. After the march, I wanted to get more involved with March of Dimes. A few months later, I was approached by the Central Virginia Division leader about being the chair of Farmville's 2014 march, and I accepted.
Fast forward...I'm now gearing up for the walk in 2024 because I'm still on a mission to spread awareness about March of Dimes and to raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause.
