Sylvia Jane was born in May 2025, 8 weeks ahead of her due date. I was admitted to the hospital at 27 weeks pregnant with severe pre-eclampsia and we stayed until I delivered her at 31 weeks due to a partial placental abruption. SJ had a 44 day NICU stay before we came home. The March of Dimes NICU Family Support at our hospital was incredible and we made lifelong friends through their programs.
With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. NICU babies are so strong, so brave, and so resilient.
We are thrilled to report that SJ is thriving today! Please join us in raising funds for the March for Babies!
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
