When Rogelio was born prematurely at 34 weeks, our world changed in an instant. Unlike my other two babies, who were born at 37 and 36 weeks and were able to come home, Rogelio wasn’t. Instead of taking him home, we spent two long months in the NICU, watching him fight to grow stronger each day.
That time was filled with fear, tears, and constant prayers, holding onto hope and trusting that one day we would finally bring him home.
As a mother of three premature babies, I’ve felt the worry and uncertainty that comes with it, but nothing prepares you for leaving the hospital without your baby in your arms. The NICU becomes your home, and it’s a journey no parent is ever truly prepared for.
Today, I’m raising $200 to support other families going through this same emotional and difficult experience. Your donation helps bring hope, care, and support to babies and parents who need it most.
Any amount, big or small, truly means more than you know. From the bottom of my heart, thank you 🤍
