Dear Family and Friends,
As you all know, Jackson Lee Schnieder was born April 18, 2005 at Bergan Mercy Medical Center in Omaha, NE at 1 pound 1 ounce and was 10 inches long. He spent 109 days in the hospital and had numerous complications, surgeries, and procedures. Jackson, who will turn 21 in about a month, has continued to grow, thrive, and is doing well. We owe Jackson's life to God, the dedicated medical staff that took care of him, supportive family and friends, advances in modern medicine, and research to help premature babies. Many of the special procedures, medicines, technologies, and instruments were available because of research supported by the March of Dimes.
On February 19, 2010, Jackson became a big brother to Madelyn Grace. Because of careful monitoring, along with the support of the March of Dimes, Mady was born weighing 5 pounds 10 ounces, and measured 18 3/4 inches long. She just turned 16 and is happy has a clam being able to drive to school and run errands for mom and dad.
This May we will be participating with Jackson and Mady in the annual March of Dimes fundraiser walk. Any donations that you can give would be greatly appreciated. Any gifts that you give go to help support research and services for babies born early like Jackson, for research on services that he may need in the future, or preventative measure that helped Mady to be born healthy. If you would like to make a donation, you can either mail donations to us made out to the March of Dimes or visit our homepage on the March of Dimes website at
Over the last 21 years, Jackson and Mady’s Marchers have raised over $51,000 for the March of Dimes. As always, any help you can give, thoughts, prayers, and support are greatly appreciated.
Sincerely, Brian, Heidi, Jackson, and Mady
