Our lives changed forever when Hudson Paul Head was born on May 4, 2023. He was born at 33 weeks so unexpectedly. We have no explanation for his pre-term birth other than a mild Covid and Flu infection I sustained the week before. He was delivered at UMC and we had the best experience all the way from L&D to NICU. It broke our hearts to not take our precious little boy home until 15 days after he was born, but we are forever grateful for his excellent care and the opportunity to take him home. He is quickly approaching his 1st birthday and we feel so blessed to be his parents. We continue to support March of Dimes in hopes that other families get the support they need during the difficult time of caring for a pre-term baby.
