Why I Walk
I walk for the moms and babies who need us.
During my third pregnancy, I experienced firsthand how quickly a pregnancy can become high risk. It was a time filled with uncertainty and worry for our family. Thankfully, today I am incredibly grateful to have three healthy children.
But I know not every family gets that outcome.
Every year in the U.S., too many families experience premature birth, pregnancy complications, or the loss of a baby. That’s why the mission of March of Dimes means so much to me.
This year is especially meaningful because I’ve returned to March of Dimes, and it marks my 18th year fundraising for March for Babies. For nearly two decades, I’ve been proud to support this organization as it works to improve the health of moms and babies through research, advocacy, and programs that support families when they need it most.
I walk to help create a world where every mom and baby has the best possible start.
If you’re able, I would be incredibly grateful for your support. Every donation—big or small—helps make a difference for families who need it most.
Thank you for walking alongside me.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
