Mason is the reason this cause is so close to our hearts.
He arrived earlier than expected, born prematurely at 34 weeks. While we were incredibly grateful to hear his cry, his early arrival brought fear, uncertainty, and a sudden crash course in how fragile those first moments of life can be. Mason spent time in the NICU, where we witnessed firsthand the strength of tiny babies and the importance of specialized care, monitoring, and support.
Thanks to the care he received, Mason continues to grow stronger every day, and we are deeply thankful for his progress. But our experience also opened our eyes to the reality that not every family’s story is the same. Preterm birth affects far too many babies, and too many families find themselves facing the NICU journey without the resources or support they need.
That’s why we’re walking and fundraising for March of Dimes. Their mission to prevent premature birth, improve maternal health, and support families matters deeply to us. We walk in honor of Mason—his strength, his early fight, and the healthy future we hope for him—and for every family still navigating uncertainty.
