I lead a March for Babies team called K3’s Village, and it exists because of my daughter, Kimora.
Kimora was born at just 25 weeks. When she arrived, she was incredibly tiny, and our world quickly shifted to the NICU—machines, monitors, doctors, nurses, and prayers. Every day felt uncertain, but every day also carried hope.
Through that journey, I saw firsthand how important research, medical care, and support for families truly are. Because of the dedication of NICU teams and the progress made through organizations like March of Dimes, babies born far too early are given a chance to survive and grow.
Kimora is my reason.
K3’s Village represents the idea that no family should walk the NICU journey alone. It takes a village—medical teams, family, friends, and a community that believes every baby deserves a fighting chance.
When we walk in March for Babies, we walk for Kimora.
We walk for babies still fighting in the NICU.
And we walk so that more families get the chance to bring their babies home.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
