I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk.    

With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But I need your help.

Our story began in June of 2020, during the pandemic, when Ava joined our family 2 months early at 3 pounds 5 ounces.  She was immediately moved to the NICU and we spent the next month by her side.  The NICU is an amazing place filled with amazing people, but it can also be a scary place for those of us who have not spent much time in a hospital.  All you want to do is know you child is OK, that’s not easy to do when you are surrounded by all sorts of tubes and medical devices, all showing you numbers which are constantly changing with warning alarms going off every few minutes.  Without the support and care of the amazing nurses and doctors in the NICU who cared for her around the clock, I have no doubt our story would not be as happy as it is today.  We were fortunate, we had great care for mommy and baby, and the support of the great companies we are apart of, but not everyone is as fortunate, please help those that are not.

For $1,000 in fundraising, March of Dimes can support 4 NICU families at their bedside to help them navigate the challenges of having a preterm baby.
