I walk to support the March of Dimes mission to fight for the health of moms and babies. My journey to becoming a mother was challenging. Evelyn Rose (Little Rockstar) was born six weeks early, and David James (The Champ) was born 4.5 weeks early. Both were born prematurely due to my elevated blood pressure and worsening lab results. Both were born healthy. Evelyn only required a 1 week NICU stay. David was in the full term nursery and discharged home with me. I also experienced two miscarriages between Evelyn and David. I walk to ensure all babies have the opportunity to become a Little Rockstar or a Champ!!!
